As the demand for clean energy grows, so too does the need for a skilled and resilient workforce. ENEC is investing in comprehensive workforce development programs designed to attract, train, and retain the nuclear professionals of tomorrow.
The company has expanded partnerships with more than 20 universities and technical colleges, offering scholarships, apprenticeships, and graduate programs in nuclear engineering, safety, and operations. A new internship initiative places hundreds of students in hands-on roles across the company each year.
"Our people are our greatest asset," said Elizabeth Chang, Chief Operating Officer. "By investing in education and early-career development, we are building the talent pipeline that will sustain safe, reliable clean energy for generations."
ENEC expects to add more than 1,500 skilled roles over the next five years as its construction and operating portfolio continues to grow.
