ENEC is pushing the boundaries of reactor design with a new generation of light water reactors engineered for higher efficiency and enhanced safety. Building on decades of operational experience, our engineers are incorporating passive safety systems that require no active intervention to shut down safely, modular construction that reduces build times, and digital control systems that improve reliability.
"Our goal is to deliver reactors that are safer, more efficient, and more economical to build and operate," said Prof. Raj Krishnamurthy, Chief Technology Officer. "The next-generation designs we are developing will play a critical role in meeting global clean energy demand."
The program represents a significant investment in research and development and builds on partnerships with leading universities and national laboratories. ENEC expects the first full-scale demonstration plant to begin construction within the decade, with deployment to follow across the United States and select international markets.
