The Pacific Clean Energy Plant is an advanced boiling water reactor operating in Northern California that has delivered clean, reliable baseload electricity for more than a decade. With 800 MW of capacity, the plant powers hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses across the region.
The plant is recognized for its exceptional operational performance and capacity factor, consistently ranking among the best-performing nuclear units in North America. It operates a rigorous safety and environmental stewardship program in close coordination with state regulators.

This project is designed to avoid millions of tonnes of CO₂ equivalent each year compared with equivalent fossil-fuel generation. Detailed environmental performance metrics, including emissions avoidance, water stewardship and land-use commitments, will be published in our annual sustainability disclosures as the project progresses.
The project supports hundreds of skilled, long-term careers and generates substantial regional economic activity through payroll, local supply contracts, property taxes and workforce development partnerships. Final figures are updated as construction and operations milestones are reached.
