The Eastern Seaboard Station is a fully operational pressurized water reactor in North Carolina that delivers 1,400 MW of clean, dependable power. Completed ahead of schedule, the station has become a model for modern nuclear construction.
The station supports the growing demand for reliable electricity across the Southeast while contributing meaningful emissions reductions. Its advanced digital control systems and high capacity factor are benchmarked across the industry.

This project is designed to avoid millions of tonnes of CO₂ equivalent each year compared with equivalent fossil-fuel generation. Detailed environmental performance metrics, including emissions avoidance, water stewardship and land-use commitments, will be published in our annual sustainability disclosures as the project progresses.
The project supports hundreds of skilled, long-term careers and generates substantial regional economic activity through payroll, local supply contracts, property taxes and workforce development partnerships. Final figures are updated as construction and operations milestones are reached.
